In May, my husband and I hired Scott Sondrall of DuctWorks to install central air-conditioning in our home. We have an existing boiler furnace system with water base-board heat. This meant that we needed DuctWorks to install a separate central air-conditioning system with custom duct work. It was a big job, which took about five days to complete.
During the project, the DuctWorks team was always on time. I have a thing about being on time, and they were at our house almost to the minute. They paid close attention to keeping the house clean as well – with drop cloths and vacuumed before they left each day.
Both Scott and team were very personable and listened to all questions and concerns to figure out good solutions. At the end of the project, we were most satisfied with everything. We would highly recommend them and we will be using them for our yearly maintenance of the system.

I actually talked to about four other companies – all specializing in heating and air conditioning.
I like the fact that DuctWorks’ owner is also the salesperson, installer and repair person. It is nice to have the salesperson actually know what he is selling.
I talked to the other companies about zone heating. DuctWorks was the only one to actually look at my existing furnace and show me that I do have zone heating and how to use it. They also added a couple of vents in my basement that none of the others even considered doing.
They are a very honest company and will not try to sell you anything you don’t need. DuctWorks also had the best price.
I highly recommend this company and I also like to support small businesses. They were there when they said they would be and did a great clean-up job.
